About Organizational Transitions

Dan Gillick is the Managing Partner for Organizational Transitions. He has been both a consultant and corporate executive in the web, high tech and defense industries. Prior to Organizational Transitions, Dan held increasingly responsible positions at AOL. As Director of Staffing, he was responsible for developing customized, comprehensive and cost-effective recruiting strategies which resulted in AOL becoming a leader in attracting outstanding talent. He was also responsible for selecting and managing best-in-class vendors for important outsourced functions resulting in a significant return on investment. As Director of Human Resources, he was responsible for developing HR infrastructure and overall generalist support for the company's high growth business units.

Prior to AOL, Dan was an attorney at a D.C. law firm where he represented clients in the broadcast and cellular industries. Prior to his legal position, Dan was an HR consultant and recruiter for GE, Unisys, ICMA Retirement Corporation and Atlantic Research.

Dan holds a Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Richmond.
